Scraping API

Any page. One request.

Send a URL, get the page back. Proxy rotation, retries, browser rendering, CAPTCHA handling and geotargeting happen on our side of the wire — and you only pay for successful responses.

Capabilities

What you get with Scraping API

How it works

Three steps, no infrastructure

  1. Send the URL

A GET with your key and the target. Add render, premium or country_code when the page needs them.

  2. 02

    We get through

The router picks a pool, fingerprints a browser, retries on block and validates the response.

  3. 03

    You get the page

HTML, Markdown, text or JSON in the response body. Failures are refunded automatically.

FAQ

Scraping API questions

What counts as a successful request?

A 2xx response from the target, or a definitive 404/410. Blocks, CAPTCHAs we could not clear and errors after retries are free.

How long can a request take?

Keep your client timeout at 70 seconds. Rendering a page with JavaScript takes longer than fetching its HTML, and the speed of the target site sets most of the time. Use async jobs for anything you do not need back in the same request.

Can I send my own headers or cookies?

Yes, with keep_headers=true we forward your headers to the target. Your API key and proxy headers are never forwarded.
